The Real Impact Happens After Graduation: How BossYourFuture GreenPreneurship Is Creating Young Changemakers in Dipolog

At Academy of Entrepreneurs, we often say something that sits deeply in our hearts:

The real impact of education is not on graduation day.

It is in the months and years after completion, when students begin taking action, building confidence, creating solutions, changing communities, and stepping into leadership.

That is why reading a recent post from Mark Anthony Dasco made us incredibly emotional.

Six months after completing our BossYourFuture GreenPreneurship Program with the ChildFund community in Dipolog, Mark shared the ongoing impact he is witnessing among young people, students continuing to think entrepreneurially, lead with purpose, and build ideas that create both income and positive social impact.

And that, right there, is why we do what we do.

The BossYourFuture GreenPreneurship Program was designed to go far beyond entrepreneurship theory. It is about helping young people become problem-solvers, changemakers, and future-ready leaders who understand that business can be a force for good.

Through the program, students explored entrepreneurship, sustainability, leadership, emotional intelligence, innovation, communication, and purpose-driven problem solving. More importantly, they learned how to turn ideas into action.

In partnership with ChildFund Philippines, young people in Dipolog were empowered with greenpreneurial skills, learning how to build business acumen while also championing environmental sustainability and community resilience.

The goal was never simply to create future business owners.

The goal was to create young leaders who ask:

“How do I solve a real problem?”
“How do I create positive impact?”
“How do I build something meaningful for my family and community?”

As Mark beautifully shared, the impact continues long after the workshops ended.

Students are still applying the mindset.

Still thinking creatively.

Still building confidence.

Still seeing opportunities instead of limitations.

And this is what makes our hearts so full.

At Academy of Entrepreneurs, success is not measured by certificates alone.

It is measured by confidence gained, action taken, ideas launched, communities empowered, and futures transformed.

To Mark Anthony Dasco and the incredible ChildFund Philippines community in Dipolog, thank you.

Thank you for believing in young people.

Thank you for championing entrepreneurship with purpose.

And thank you for reminding us that the true success of education is found in what happens after the classroom.

Because the real impact?

It lasts forever.
