From Study Tour to Scholarship, Competitions and UTS Success

Alphonsus first joined the Academy of Entrepreneurs Study Tour while still at High School at Southridge. Through AE, he built confidence, leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset before starting university.

He then completed the AE University Pathway Diploma and was accepted directly into UTS with six months of university credit and a 30% scholarship. By avoiding the traditional UTS College pathway, receiving advanced standing and securing the scholarship, his family saved more than AUD $120,000 in education costs. He also avoided approximately 18 months of additional living expenses in Sydney, worth another $55,500. Altogether, his pathway represents saving of approximately $175,000, while allowing him to graduate six months sooner.

Since starting at UTS, Alphonsus has already achieved remarkable results. He reached the semifinals of the UTS Consulting Club × Capgemini Case Competition, competed in the PropConnex 2026 Real Estate Case Competition, and was selected to work alongside some of UTS’s strongest Finance and Property students.

He is not simply attending university. He is leading teams, solving real-world business problems, and gaining access to opportunities many students never experience, all while putting the Academy of Entrepreneurs’ BossYourFuture attitude into action.
