Empowering Student Leaders: Academy of Entrepreneurs x AIESEC Leadership & Entrepreneurship Hackathon

At Academy of Entrepreneurs, we believe leadership is not just taught — it’s experienced & uplifted.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud of our powerful collaboration with AIESEC, where we trained their incredible student leaders across 22 universities in Australia through hands-on Leadership & Entrepreneurship Hackathons.

This partnership reflects our shared mission: to empower young people to lead, innovate, and create real change in their communities and beyond.

A Shared Vision for Youth Leadership

AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organization, present in over 100 countries, committed to developing leadership through cross-cultural exchanges and experiential learning. Our collaboration was built on a simple, powerful idea: if we equip young leaders with entrepreneurial skills, we amplify their impact.

Over several months, our AE trainers worked with AIESECers across major Australian universities to:

  • Strengthen their leadership mindset

  • Teach entrepreneurial strategies to turn ideas into action

  • Host hackathons that inspired innovative solutions to real challenges

Hackathons That Spark Innovation

The AE x AIESEC hackathons weren’t just events — they were launchpads for action. Students formed teams and, in just hours, identified a pressing problem, developed a creative solution, and pitched their idea to a panel of mentors and judges.

We focused on building skills that every future changemaker needs:

  • Critical thinking & rapid problem solving

  • Team leadership & collaboration

  • Pitching & communication mastery

  • Business model development for real-world implementation

The energy was electric — ideas ranged from sustainable travel platforms to digital mental health solutions, education tech innovations, and impact-driven ventures that could scale globally.

Training the Next Generation of Leaders

Through interactive workshops and our signature AE leadership framework, participants:

  • Unlocked their entrepreneurial confidence

  • Learned to lead teams with clarity and vision

  • Gained practical tools to launch their own initiatives

Our goal wasn’t just to teach — it was to activate. We wanted every AIESEC leader to walk away ready to lead movements, not just meetings.

22 Universities, 1 Mission

From Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane to Perth, we’ve proudly delivered AE x AIESEC programs in:

  • Leading universities such as University of Technology Sydney, University of Sydney, Monash University, University of Queensland, and many more.

  • Empowering hundreds of student leaders with the confidence, skills, and mindset to launch their own projects, startups, and movements.

A Movement for Impact

This partnership is just the beginning. By fusing leadership with entrepreneurship, we’re creating a generation of youth changemakers who don’t just talk about solutions — they build them.

We’re incredibly proud of the AIESECers who embraced the challenge, stepped into leadership with courage, and turned their innovative ideas into powerful pitches.
