Makassar, a city brimming with innovation and ambition, welcomed Academy of Entrepreneurs (AE) with open arms for an impactful series of meetings and masterclasses. Beyond igniting entrepreneurial thinking in students, our discussions with key government leaders opened doors for exciting new collaborations that could shape the future of education and leadership in the region.
Strategic Meetings for Lasting Impact
During our visit, we had the privilege of engaging with the Secretary of the Region team and the Education Department office team of South Sulawesi Government to explore ways AE can contribute to Makassar’s educational and professional landscape. The discussions centered around three key initiatives:
🎓 Teacher Training Program – Equipping educators with entrepreneurial skills to inspire the next generation of changemakers in Makassar’s schools. By integrating AE’s methodology, teachers can nurture problem-solving, leadership, and innovation in their classrooms.
🏛Government Official Training – AE’s expertise in entrepreneurial leadership could be extended to Makassar’s government officials, empowering them with fresh perspectives on problem-solving, adaptability, and economic development strategies.
💡 CSR & Scholarships for Bright Students – Recognizing the city’s immense talent, we explored the possibility of launching Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs to support high-achieving students from underprivileged backgrounds. Through this initiative, outstanding students could receive scholarships to pursue higher education in Australia via AE programs.
The Power of Collaboration
These conversations reinforced the shared vision between AE and Makassar’s leaders: empowering individuals with entrepreneurial skills to drive economic and social progress. With government support and potential CSR partnerships, the dream of making quality entrepreneurial education accessible to all is becoming a reality.
Looking Ahead: Turning Plans into Action
Our visit to Makassar was more than just a series of meetings—it was the start of a transformative journey. We are eager to follow up with our new partners, finalize action plans, and bring these initiatives to life.
To the Secretary of the Region, Education Department, and all the passionate leaders we met—thank you! Together, we are paving the way for a future where education, innovation, and entrepreneurship go hand in hand.
Makassar, this is just the beginning. Let’s make magic happen! ✨🚀
