Academy of Entrepreneurs Welcomes UA&P: Completing an Incredible Opus Dei Education Network in the Philippines

We are incredibly excited to officially welcome the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) as our newest education partner in the Philippines.

This partnership is particularly special to us.

Over the years, Academy of Entrepreneurs has had the privilege of building relationships across the network of Opus Dei-inspired schools and universities in the Philippines. UA&P represents the final institution within this network that we had been aiming to work with, bringing together an extraordinary ecosystem of high school and university students who can now access entrepreneurial, international and future-focused learning experiences.

For us, this isn't simply another partnership.

It is the completion of a vision we have been working towards for years.

Building Ethical Leaders Who Are Steps Ahead of the Future

The world our students are graduating into is changing faster than traditional education can possibly predict.

Artificial intelligence is transforming careers. New industries are being created.

Existing jobs are being redesigned. Entrepreneurship is becoming a fundamental skill regardless of whether someone intends to start a company.

The question is no longer simply:

"What career should I prepare for?"

It is:

"How do I develop the skills, character and adaptability to remain valuable in a world that will continue to change?"

That is at the heart of our partnership with UA&P.

Together, we want to help develop young people who aren't simply prepared to enter the workforce, but who have the confidence, entrepreneurial mindset and ethical foundation to lead it and positively impact it.

Two International Study Tours Every Year

As part of the partnership, UA&P students will be invited to participate in two Academy of Entrepreneurs international Study Tours each year.

These experiences take education outside the classroom and place students directly inside the environments shaping their future.

Students can experience universities, companies, entrepreneurs, emerging technologies and international business ecosystems firsthand.

Instead of simply hearing about global careers, they get to see them.

Instead of reading about entrepreneurship, they experience it.

Instead of wondering what their future could look like, they begin building a global network and discovering possibilities for themselves.

We are also excited to bring entrepreneurs directly into the UA&P ecosystem to deliver intensive Hackathons and entrepreneurial learning experiences.

Students will be challenged to identify real problems, form teams, generate ideas, validate solutions, use emerging technologies, build prototypes and pitch their concepts.

Because entrepreneurship shouldn't only be studied.

It should be practised.

These experiences are designed to build some of the capabilities employers, entrepreneurs and leaders increasingly require: problem-solving, creativity, communication, collaboration, resilience, commercial thinking, AI literacy and the ability to turn an idea into action.

Learning Directly From Leaders

Another important part of the partnership will be a series of hybrid Masterclasses connecting students with leaders from around the world.

We want young people to learn directly from the people actually building companies, leading organisations, representing countries and navigating industries being transformed by technology.

Our wider Academy of Entrepreneurs ecosystem has included entrepreneurs, diplomats and senior leaders connected with organisations and companies such as Google, Amazon, Wix and TikTok, among many others.

The objective isn't simply to bring impressive names into a classroom.

It is to shorten the distance between education and the real world.

Students should be able to ask leaders:

What are you seeing that most people aren't seeing yet?

What skills are becoming more valuable?

What is AI changing inside your industry?

What mistakes did you make?

What would you learn if you were 18 again?

And what can students start doing today to remain several steps ahead of where the market is moving?

UA&P has developed a strong reputation over many years for business and management education.

What makes this partnership particularly exciting is the alignment between business, entrepreneurship, character and purpose.
